In Aug. 2009, Wuhan HC Semitek Corporation obtained the ISO9001:2008 quality management system certification issued by SGS, a sign that HC Semitek reached a new height in terms of establishing and operating quality management system and improving its management.
HC Semitek has been committed to research, development, production, and sales of high-quality LED epitaxial materials and chips featuring GaN-based blue and green chip products. The company is committed to following product quality-oriented activities and pursuing continuous reform and innovation in every aspect. Being oriented to customers/market, it has established a quality management system with clear responsibilities for each department, coordinated work, efficient operation, and sustained improvement.
Compared to IS09001:2000, the new version IS09001:2008 has the same purpose, area and application scope, but gives clarification or annotations for the parts that are prone to or have been subjected to misconstruction. HC Semitek is fully aware of the terms of the new version, and has carried out many trainings and publicity to ensure the full implementation of the new version. This shows the company’s continuous improvement in quality management system work.
HC Semitek passed the annual review and obtained certification of the new version, marking that the company reaches a new stage of standardized management and is gradually realizing the corporate vision of “producing the best LED product and becoming the best LED company”.
